The impossibly cool Zoe Kravitz has been known for her glamorous take on grunge for some time, but after her appearance in Big Little Lies last year, 2018 saw the actress in the limelight more than ever – and boy did she impress on the red carpet. Not afraid to play with colour or to mix aesthetics, Kravitz is the master of making dressing up her own.
The actress’ appearance at the Met Gala saw her in a seductive black lace gown by Saint Laurent – and although it was revealing and almost completely sheer, she teamed it with some vintage-inspired earrings and pulled her hair back with an oversized bow, which gave the otherwise ‘naked’ look a cool finish. Likewise, where a pink frilly dress might look too girly, Kravitz gave it some edge by pulling her hair into a low-key low ponytail and wearing minimal make-up and jewellery. When wearing an oversized shirt and baggy jeans, she adds heels to glam it up. The actress always balances her look out, which is the reason she always looks so good.
