Fast forward to the present, where the new Reach for the Stars collection by Patrice Leguéreau and the CHANEL Fine Jewellery Creation Studio is a luminous reinterpretation of this iconic theme. With an eye for glamour and sophistication, the collection enhances the comets of the Blazing Star set with fine lines of gold and onyx. With glamour at the heart of it all, the Dreams Come True necklace, an exquisite tribute to haute couture, mimics the elegant neckline of a luxurious gown, adorned with diamonds that glimmer in white gold, black-coated gold and natural polished diamonds.

This inspiring motto said by Gabrielle Chanel has inspired Patrice Leguéreau and the CHANEL Fine Jewellery Creation Studio team to craft stunning openwork jewels that are just as light as floating lace and yet so delicate to the skin. For instance, the Wings of Chanel necklace unfolds to wrap delicately around the neck, set with an exceptional 19.55-carat Padparadscha sapphire whose colour is a delicate balance of pink and orange hues. Another highlight would be the Free Move necklace that uses fluidity and grace in all forms. Whether draped delicately across a bare back or worn on its own, this extraordinary piece dances with every gesture.

A symbol of power and elegance, the lion became an emblem of Chanel’s Haute Joaillerie in 2012—Gabrielle Chanel’s astrological sign. For the Reach for the Stars collection, CHANEL’s Fine Jewellery Creation Studio has meticulously crafted two interpretations. A highlight of ours is the Strong as a Lion set, featuring the lion’s head facing forward, adorned in white gold, white and yellow diamonds, with its mane surrounded by stars to form a sparkling medallion. The other is in yellow gold surrounded by a sea of diamonds for the Be the One set.
