Bold in Black. The Excalibur Double Tourbillon and Excalibur Monobalancier crafted from black ceramic is the world’s most fearless trailblazer.
Two of Roger Dubuis’s first black ceramic timepieces: Excalibur Double Tourbillon and Excalibur Monobalancier are extraordinary in terms of performance, technology, and mechanics. The glossy ceramic models were the result of exceptional and challenging craftsmanship. Designed to keep up with the world’s most fearless trailblazers, Roger Dubuis’ ceramic is encased in solid black ceramic and four times tougher than stainless steel.
Roger Dubuis does not lose its lustre over time with the uncompromising nature of the brand’s iconic shape. With the entire manufacturing process overhauled, the hyper-skilled engineers are taking ceramic from raw form to the distinctive case, and achieving hyper-resistant to daily scratches.
The enhanced Excalibur Double Tourbillon
Being dedicated to designing the future of Hyper Horology, the reinvented Excalibur Double Tourbillon is presented in a spectacular black aesthetic with RD108 calibre and its two signature tourbillons. Both iconic tourbillons are rebuilt with lighter materials and optimise the power reserve for up to 72 hours.
Meanwhile, the transparency and spatial depth of the movement are enhanced to float freely above the barrel. A 45mm case and movement with clean-streamlined lines offer a strong visual identity.
The radiant Excalibur Monobalancier
Truly a timepiece for Hyper Horology aficionados. The new Excalibur Monobalancier black ceramic edition demonstrates hyper durability, expressiveness, and extreme craftsmanship. With a series of technical enhancements multiplied, the timepiece impressed with a power reserve of up to 72 hours and upgraded the performance of the automatic RD 720SQ calibre to its maximum.
The 42mm timepiece is further evident in the decorations such as sandblasted, satin-brushed surfaces, and polished angles echoed with contemporary flair. In amplifying its eloquent nature, the watch is designed with clean-cut lines, a fluted bezel, and sharp notches, while the signature star is reshaped to levitate freely above the barrel.
