All You Need to Know About Netflix’s “Vladimir”

Obsession never looked so good

Let’s talk about desire—the messy, inappropriate, absolutely unhinged kind that society pretends doesn’t exist. You know, the fantasy that strikes during faculty meetings when you should be contemplating academic rigour, but instead find yourself contemplating something far more exciting

Enter Vladimir, Netflix’s deliciously deranged new series that’s serving up obsession with a side of scandal. Rachel Weisz stars as a middle-aged professor who’s traded in her moral compass for a one-way ticket to Fantasyland, and the destination? A devastatingly handsome younger colleague named Vladimir.

Consider this your formal invitation to witness a woman’s spectacular unravelling. Class is in session soon, and attendance is mandatory. Just don’t blame us when you can’t stop thinking about it during your next Zoom meeting.
