Kimi Antonelli makes a stunning debut with a P4 win

In a thrilling race, the heavy downpour transformed the track into a slippery challenge, leading to numerous cars spinning out and crashing. Kimi, starting from P16 weaved through the chaos to climb all the way to an impressive P4.

Initially, the race stewards handed him a five-second penalty for an incident during his final pitstop with the driver having been allegedly released into the path of Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg.

However, this decision was overturned after Mercedes submitted a ‘Right of Review’ request concerning the incident between Kimi and Nico.
