Your guide to the Mid-Autumn Festival 2023 in KL:

Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

We’re kicking off our Mid-Autumn festival 2023 list with none other than Mandarin Oriental KL. Together with award-winning restaurant Lai Po Heen, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur unveils its abundant mooncake creations for 2023. Continuing on its route to sustainability, this year’s mooncakes are presented in an eco-friendly bamboo box adorned with a premium finish and lined with red velvet on the interior.

Available from 7 July to 29 September 2023, you will find halal-certified baked mooncakes in Assorted mixed nuts, Lotus paste with single egg yolk, Pandan paste with single egg yolk, Black sesame, Lotus and melon seed, Red bean paste and almond flakes, Low sugar white lotus paste, Durian paste and melon seed.

For those who prefer chocolate, you can indulge in the Malaysian dark chocolate ganache, Dulcey chocolate with raspberry and peanuts and mango vanilla. As for the snow skin creations, look out for the signature Musang King durian, Matcha cream cheese with Oreo cookie and lotus paste along with the Cashew, macadamia, almond nut, peanut butter and pandan lotus paste.

Each mooncake is priced between RM40 to RM75. The Mooncakes are available at the online store or through the Mandarin Cake Shop in the lobby.
