Entrepreneur and social media star, Datin Nina Ismail Sabri shares her experience of test driving the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric from the city to Sekinchan.

What was your first impression of the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric?
Personally, I thought the car was sexy and cute – the perfect size for cruising around in the city. The silhouettes and design of the car really complemented how sexy and bold it looks. When we went a little off road, I was surprised by how sturdy and easy it was to handle the car. It definitely surpassed my expectations!
Describe the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric in 3 words.
Sexy, sophisticated, and stylish.
What caught your eyes in terms of the exterior design?
I love that it’s sleek, sophisticated, and sexy. It’s the perfect car for a woman like me that wants something feminine, yet sturdy to be taken out of the city. I love the sunroof and how the boot lid can be opened with just a foot movement. The car was designed perfectly and I adored every curve, and edge of the car.
What did you like most about the interior of the car?
As said before, I do love the sunroof and I appreciate that even when it’s sunny, you won’t feel a thing from inside the car. I’m also a big fan of the whole interface as it’s very user-friendly. From the audio and navigation system to the comfy seats and the interior space, they’re all very appropriately designed.
How was your experience driving the car?
It’s a quiet, easy-to-drive vehicle. Its electric motor and regen system offers a smooth single-pedal experience, which I love. I automatically feel confident driving the car especially when I’m driving through small and narrow roads.
What’s the difference when driving an electric car in comparison to a normal car?
An electric car has a faster acceleration in comparison to a normal car, so you can ultimately drive faster. I can also say that driving an electric car feels much smoother.
Do you think this car is suitable for working women and mothers like yourself?
Yes, I think it saves women and mothers like myself time driving an electric car. We do not need to stop and fill up fuel at the station, making it safer for us and our kids in the long run.
Was it easy charging the car?
It was surprisingly very easy and it saved me a lot of time. It was a quick and hassle-free experience, suitable for ladies and mommies on the go.
Tell us why do you think electric car is the future of automobile?
With a more than 40 per cent increase in electric cars, I think that they are already the present and future of automobiles. They are environmentally friendly, convenient as it saves us a lot of time, and bonus, it gives a more enjoyable driving experience overall.

As a woman, my number one reason for choosing this car is definitely because of how sexy and sophisticated it looks on the outside. Also, I feel that it is easy to manage and a very easy car to control as well as drive. It’s hassle-free and isn’t stressful.
