Prime the world with positivity, generosity and a shared sense of humanity with our latest philanthropic initiatives.
As the world’s light gets dimmer, the shadows of agony, pain and hardships are surfacing like a domino. Thus, jolting us into having a moment for reflection, generosity and a shared sense of humanity — all of which are precious commodities that deserve to be spread bright and boldly.
To find moments of joy along the way, Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia is rallying its philanthropic energy with ICON and The PEAK by hosting an “Afternoon Chari-Tea” to raise funds for the Nurjiwa Foundation. The Nurjiwa Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza and Datuk Khalid Jiwa to provide welfare, education and humanitarian aid to those in need locally and internationally.
Here’s everything you need to know about Afternoon Chari-Tea:
The philanthropic initiative, “Afternoon Chari-Tea” is set to raise RM100,000 by selling high-tea sets, for which all the proceeds will be donated to the foundation. Priced at RM300 for two pax, the afternoon tea is set to serve scones, finger sandwiches, savoury tarts, quiches and more — a delightful yet positive indulgence.
Collaborating with four partners such as the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Restaurant, EQ Kuala Lumpur, Hotel Indigo and InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, the goodwill is set to lessen the burden of the recent global and local challenges our community faces.
