Circle to search

Some may be familiar with the ‘Circle to Search’ tool, but if you haven’t, let me tell you a little bit about how this has helped me navigate my day. As a Digital Director, I find myself searching for the next big thing. In other words, I tend to be curious. With the ‘Circle to Search’, I find myself navigating the fashion realm, hunting and identifying the latest fashion trends. It makes my daily tasks so secure when searching for the things I need to elevate my writing during fashion week.

Transcript assist

Note-taking is easier with a 7.6-inch screen. I really liked the accessibility of the Galaxy Z Fold6 for typing and using the Transcript Assist function for note-taking. As a journalist, I found this feature extremely helpful during a recent photoshoot interview. It not only helps translate words into text, but also identifies and summarizes them for you.

This feature was also handy during a meeting. I was able to write and draw using the S Pen while recording meeting minutes without switching between apps.

Sketch to image

Here’s another favourite of mine. The Sketch to Image tool allows me to draw and conceptualize my visions and turn them into reality. Like any creative project, before starting a photo shoot, your ideas will need to be translated into a storyboard or mood board. Sketch to Image works seamlessly with my work style because it’s so convenient to create the storyboard of my dreams. All I have to do is draw an image in the Notes app, and by selecting Sketch to Image, it will trace around the image I want to transform and generate an image for me, whether it’s a watercolour, illustration, sketch, or pop art.

Interpreter

As I mentioned before, I was quite impressed with the Interpreter mode during my recent trip to Japan. It offers not just one-way interpretations but also two-way interactions.

By simply tapping on the Listening Mode, you can choose your preferred language. Currently, Galaxy phones and tablets can assist users in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Japanese, Italian, and more. Then, speak into the microphone and see your transcription appear on the screen, translated right before your eyes. Another feature I found helpful during my trip is the two-way interpretation.

When you click on conversation mode and select your preferred language, you can quickly start conversing. Your speech translation is displayed on the Galaxy Z Fold6’s cover screen for the other person to see.

Photo assist

Editing becomes effortless with the Galaxy Z Fold6. Photo Assist has become an essential part of my creative process, bringing ease to my work. My favourite feature? The Instant Slow-Mo has reignited my passion for capturing and sharing special moments, especially when it’s in a slightly slow effect to fully capture its potential in a video. Editing is made easy when you have the Galaxy Z Fold6 in hand. In between filming BTS scenes at a cover shoot or chasing the perfect content at events, I found this to ease my stress and worries away in the midst of editing.
