Well, good news, Samsung is introducing their latest flagship lineup that includes the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. While the star of the series may be the Galaxy S25 Ultra, here’s why its second-in-command is better than just a worthy investment in terms of performance while offering affordability.

Here are our thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy S25+:

Immediately, the first indicator that hints at Samsung’s continuous strive for innovation is the new look in its packaging—made from recycled materials—that strays from its predecessors. The design takes a new direction that prioritises showcasing the model’s silhouette, rather than a forthright depiction of what lies inside—talk about a suspenseful reveal.

In terms of aesthetics for the phone itself—there is no major revamping in design compared to the S24+, the trademark three-camera system on the back now has its lenses secured with stuck-on metal rims. The S25+ we received came in Icyblue, a modishly cool tone in a metallic finish that boasts sophistication and style.

But enough of the visual features; let’s get into the functional capabilities of this new contraption. In terms of basic user engagement, the Quick Settings page has a layout that is easy to navigate and can be combined with the notifications shade.

For avid camera users, a crisp display on a 6.7-inch panel allows for a smooth viewing experience. All four cameras are a match to the Galaxy S24+’s, as well as its other two predecessors—the 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP 3X telephoto rear cameras, plus a 12MP selfie imager at the front.

In terms of AI features, Google’s Gemini can now be accessed by holding down the side button and perform seamless action across apps to streamline workflow at a single voice command. Galaxy AI’s Now Brief also presents as an exceptional productivity assistant that supplies information such as weather reports and news recaps.

With all that said, the Galaxy S25+’s design approach in functionality is here to prove that it is consistently reliable and user-friendly, not to mention that it has a solid battery life and an improved cooling system. The phone is—all in all—a promising choice if you’re looking for an update.
