Banyan Cafe
If you’re looking for a cosy coffee spot that gives off a calming ambience, then head over to Banyan Cafe. Located in the heart of KL, this new cafe infuses a touch of greenery with a modern charm. While the warm space may have caught our attention, its extensive menu is perfectly curated for every taste palette. From the classic brunch menu to Western fusion, you’re in for a treat. We suggest trying their Millefoglie Di Tartare to start and ordering a portion of their Balinese Smoked Duck–who wouldn’t want a bite of creamy masak lemak pasta topped with smoked duck?

Kame Kafe
Kame Kafe is bringing a slice of Japan to Bukit Jalil. Whether you’re into the classic egg sando or a sweeter bite of strawberries with honey cream, this new cafe spot is where you can indulge in the best of both worlds: savoury and sweet. Other highlights on their menu include their black garlic tonkotsu ramen, kake soba and ochazuke.

Latibule Coffee
Taking inspiration from Japanese kissatens and Taiwanese coffee bars, Latibule Coffee exudes a vintage-meets-modern allure upon entering. As you take a look at every corner, you’ll spot stunning ornamental pieces like vintage lamps, radios, turntables, books and more that complete the atmosphere. With their speciality coffees at the heart of it all, you can go ahead and explore their Sibeh Dirty Latte. For a refreshing twist, don’t miss out on their Taiwanese-inflected winter melon milk and Japanese-style melon soda.

Asylum Coffeehouse
If you’re craving a cuppa in Bangsar, be sure to add Asylum Coffeehouse to your list. A tranquil space that evokes a sense of calmness as you enter, the coffeehouse is the perfect destination to unwind and catch up with your loved ones. On the menu, you can find them serving Singapore-roasted coffee with Penang-baked goodies. We recommend ordering their signature Keluak espresso-based blend and PB&J Latte.

323 Cafe
Over at 323 Cafe, you can find all of your comfort favourites, from a hearty plate of char kuey teow to a slurp-worthy bowl of beef carbonara. Destined for every palette, the menu will have you enjoying the best of both worlds: Malaysian and Western cuisine. And, of course, don’t miss out on enjoying their delicious brew for a nightcap.
