Dating rumors for Cooper and Shayk started after the two were seen watching the Broadway production Finding Neverland together. At the time, the pair had already been “hanging out,” sources told Page Six, but their relationship was still only “friendly.”

Later that month, they were reportedly seen making out at Rihanna’s Met Gala after party, according to Page Six. The month after, they were seen kissing and holding hands after watching Hamilton, People reported.
