Blake Lively is one of those people who just seems to never run out of talent or energy, as proven with her latest venture – home interiors. Whether it’s acting or styling herself for catwalk front rows, she does it well.

So, it’s no surprise that her latest passion is a creative one. The 30-year-old star revealed in a post on her Instagram that she has been running a side business of designing friends’ homes for free.
She wrote: “I design my friends homes. For free. Of all the bad decisions I’ve made, this may be the most fun.”

It’s clear she has been busy with this secret project, having shared an image of stencils, sketches and fabric samples of furniture designs.
Lively seemingly takes inspiration from anything, including her own daughters’ wardrobes, as she wrote: “thank you to my daughters for unknowingly loaning me your clothes for ‘fabric’ inspo.”
It’s not the first thing she has expressed a love for designing though. In a recent Harper’s Bazaar US interview with Gigi Hadid, Lively told her how she’d also love to design weddings.
After asking Hadid how she felt the first time she collaborated with Tommy Hilfiger, Lively expressed her admiration that Hadid does both jobs – a model and a designer.
Hadid then revealed how she is always up for new projects.
“I’m always looking for new opportunities. My manager regularly asks, ‘Hey, any new, weird ideas for this month?’ And then I start talking about how I could design a wedding.”
Lively replied showing her interest: “My God, don’t start without me. I want to design weddings.”
If her flair for designing interiors is anything to go by, we’d love to see a home collection and Lively as a wedding planner.
