Felix hopes to share the love he received
In February 2024, Felix of Stray Kids was spotted volunteering in Laos with UNICEF, aiming to help improve nutrition, water pollution and sanitation in the region. He had previously expressed his desire to engage in volunteer work whenever possible, so when he had the chance to do something good during the group’s vacation, the singer decided to join the great cause.
The singer believed that working with UNICEF presented a remarkable opportunity for him to share love among the children in Laos. In the vlog uploaded by UNICEF Korea, you can see that he actively participated in various activities that benefitted the children. Throughout his time spent with the young ones, Felix’s smile illuminated the surroundings, demonstrating his genuine dedication to making a positive impact.
As the youngest member of the UNICEF Honour Club, Felix’s generous spirit shone brightly through his donation of 100 million won (approximately RM 346,900) to UNICEF Lao PDR in January 2024 to support the welfare of children and mothers.
His motivation for this act of generosity was clear, “I participated in this donation because I wanted to share the love I received”, he said. Known for his consistent efforts in supporting underprivileged communities, Felix’s altruism extends far beyond the spotlight of his idol status.
Felix’s public-spirited yet low-key approach has won him tremendous praises from the public. His heartfelt contributions and selfless act in Laos, also made him an inspiration for others.
