I appreciate the new angular-shaped design, which gives it a sharper and sleeker look. Coming from someone who’s constantly holding on to her phone, the flatter edges make it so easy to grip.

Working on the go made easy

The one thing I appreciate the most is its lighter weight (239g) and slimmer design compared to the Galaxy Z Fold5. Additionally, its wider screen makes editing articles and working on the go a seamless experience, no matter where I am. With its 7.6-inch screen, typing on the Z Fold6 took me by surprise at how comfortable it was to type when using the phone both in its opened and unfolded position.

When unfolded, the large screen provides optimal results with its incredible features like the Circle to Search. All I have to do is long press on the Home key and tap or circle a particular object, which will help me identify what I need to know. In this case, it helps me research the key fashion trends during fashion week. Plus, in my line of work, frequent travelling is on my agenda, which makes my adventures abroad so easy with the instant translation function on the screen.

Thanks to the Instant Translation tool, navigation was easy when taking the train, googling for restaurants and getting my way around Tokyo. Safe to say, I won’t be getting lost in Japan anymore.

Screen time

Now, I may not be a colossal game fanatic, but fortunately, my husband is, and he was very impressed with how satisfiying it was to play his games on the go. With the massive 7.6-inch screen, it offers a more visible experience with a more powerful ray-tracing performance. And, of course, a worry that concerns every game fanatic is the possibility of it overheating. So you won’t have to worry about your gadget overheating.

The foldable screen provides space to watch the latest season of ‘Emily in Paris’ as I navigate my day by responding to my emails, thanks to the split screen.

Even better, it’s beneficial when I’m travelling, particularly when I’m researching the best cafes to visit while navigating Google Maps without having to switch between apps.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 features a 50-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. While these may be useful when filming content for work, I particularly enjoyed bringing this gadget with me to work events, especially when photographing in outdoor and indoor venues. The best part? The Nightography function allows me to take pictures in low-lighting. As a concert-goer like myself, I particularly love this function especially when it’s in an indoor setting. It just enhances my experience ten times better.

Battery life and performance

Running at 4,400mAh, the Galaxy Z Fold6 can last me for a full day without a second charge. But it depends on how often you use your phone in a day. As for me, when I’m just in the office, my battery life can last up to roughly 14 hours. However, on days when I’m travelling and am constantly grabbing my phone for content or using it unfolded, the battery level can last for up to 12 hours of usage. Keep in mind that this depends on every user.
