To celebrate the buzz surrounding the show, Netflix is hosting an exclusive event in Malaysia as part of the “One Last Adventure” global celebration, offering local fans a fitting farewell to their favourite show. In the heart of KL, fans will have the chance of a lifetime to experience the Stranger Rides. Now, what does it entail? Read more to find out.
Everything you need to know about Stranger Ride in KL:
At Daily Dose Coffee, a fleet of becas (trishaws) will be decorated with familiar elements from the show, showcasing the nostalgic settings of 1980s Hawkins and California. While riding in one, you might encounter terrifying monsters from the Upside Down. The entire space will be transformed into the Upside Down, with interactive activities for fans to enjoy. These activities include trying to beat Mad Max’s high scores at the Palace Arcade, piecing together a Demogorgon puzzle and enjoying food from Stranger Things-themed food trucks.
While you’re there, be sure to complete your activity passport by collecting stamps from various checkpoints throughout the activation area to snag exclusive Stranger Things merchandise.
