As flowers bloom in May, so does a fresh wave of music, bringing us an array of new tunes as loyal companions. Even though we’re still in the month, we couldn’t wait to share our favourite releases that have coloured our days.

Indeed, May has been a vibrant month with numerous events and releases. Starting off strong is the Kendrick Lamar and Drake rivalry with a series of diss tracks. While we’re not big on feuds, when they come with great music, well, who are we to judge?
In addition, we see a number of music videos releases, adding another layer of artistry to the journey. Charli XCX released hers featuring unexpected cameos, adding to the excitement.

Meanwhile, we were also greeted with exciting news of upcoming concerts and festivals to look forward to. Peggy Gou built anticipation by leaking her set for Good Vibes Festival, which created quite a buzz among fans.
Olivia Rodrigo thrilled us by expanding her Guts tour to include Asian countries. This marks her first time touring in Asia and Australia, sparking a frenzy for tickets online. While she won’t be visiting Malaysia, fans can catch her in nearby countries like Thailand and Singapore. Another powerhouse, Niki, also announced her tour, which will include a stop in Malaysia in 2025.
