LA FAVELA

This colossal colonial-mansion-turned-quirky-club is one of the hippest hangouts in Seminyak. It stands out for its serious attention to detail in the design and decor of the entire set-up, from the vintage Volkswagen bar to the distressed wood and stencil artwork that litters the walls. It’s antique chic, a treasure trove of rustic and retro, and the overall effect is incredible. When night falls, the intimate jungle courtyard vibe creates a special ambience – it feels more like a private house party than a big night out, a far cry from Kuta’s pounding techno. The drinks menu is as extensive as it is excellent, with a particularly impressive list of European liquors and spirits as well as some seriously good signature cocktails. Arrive early in the evening and secure a prime spot as the crowds begin to gather.
