Chopard chose the first day of the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show to celebrate the 40th birthday of its iconic Happy Diamonds collection. Chopard welcomed guests for a youthful and “Happy” cocktail reception packed with surprises and themed around a bubbly, upbeat atmosphere inspired by moving diamonds. Friend of the brand Poppy Delevingne, socialite and blogger Alice Naylor Leyland, as well as fashion blogger Negin Mirsalehi, were guests of honour at the event, joining others in sipping the finest Louis Roederer champagnes and sampling a range of colourful dishes with tangy flavours, also resolutely inspired by the world of Happy Diamonds.

DJ and it-girl Amber Le Bon set the musical mood, while a Happy Diamonds photo booth enabled everyone to strike joyful poses. Upon leaving, each guest was invited to choose a fortune cookie: one of the Happy Messages was a chance to win a Happy Diamonds pendant. These relaxed and festive moments were a perfect reflection of the ‘birthday collection’.
