Bella Hadid can add one more ad campaign to her ever-growing list of accomplishments; the supermodel is fronting the NARS fall 2017 beauty campaign, featuring the brand-new NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment.
“The model brings the product to life and gives it an identity, so matching the right model with a product is very important. I love Bella,” says François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS cosmetics. “She has a very strong and powerful look that I think is very well suited to a bold product, like Powermatte.”
Bella Hadid poses alongside Justin Gossman in the rock and roll-inspired shoot, which has Hadid rocking faux bangs once again (she really seems to love them—why not cut them for real?). While Hadid is still the face of Dior makeup, this partnership with Nars is to celebrate the brand’s first liquid matte lipstick, launching next month.
The Powermatte Lip Pigment is an inky formula that comes in 20 never-before-seen shades. While the pigment is as strong and bold as you’d expect from a NARS lipstick, it feels like nothing at all—truly weightless—on your lips. It’s the matte lipstick for people that hate the feeling of matte lipstick or any lipstick at all, but also want the color to last all day (and then some).
