The actress looked sensational for the premiere of Poor Things in a detailed, sheer dress.

Emma Stone and Louis Vuitton are always a match made in heaven when it comes to red-carpet dressing, and the actress’ latest outing is proof of that. For the New York premiere of Poor Things – which she attended alongside co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Margaret Qualley – Stone wore a beautiful slip dress that was embellished with hundreds of crystals.
The dress in question featured hand embroidery and needed over 550 hours in the atelier to be made. The team created an organic pattern with sheer elements by mixing metallic wires encrusted with crystals and mother of pearl. This was put on a base of two layers of tulle, with one layer being cut and frayed once the embroidery was done. The dress was then assembled by hand, and Stone accessorised with a handmade golden flower chocker necklace, encrusted with glass pearls and crystals.
Below, step inside the atelier and see how Stone’s beautiful gown came to life, from sketch to the red carpet. And, for more celebrity-style inspiration, head this way.
