Road to stardom
Known for her stint as a member of the K-pop girl group, (G)I-DLE — singer-songwriter, dancer and record producer, Yuqi has just been announced as Tory Burch’s latest brand ambassador. This hallmark moment came right after attending Tory Burch’s SS25 runway show, where she donned the brand’s latest ready-to-wear and accessories.
Founded in New York City in 2004, Tory Burch is notable for its timeless and versatile silhouettes that epitomise the classic American style. But, on top of that, Tory Burch is a brand that connects women and empowers them, so it’s no surprise that Yuqi was brought on board — a woman who doesn’t hold back on anything.
“Yuqi is an extraordinary artist and an inspiration to women globally. As a multi-talented singer, songwriter, dancer and producer, she has established her own unique voice and sense of style that I admire,” said Tory Burch’s Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer.
With her chic style, Yuqi will be strutting Tory Burch’s handbags and shoes — beginning with the launch of the brand’s Holiday 2024 campaign. Shot in Los Angeles, the campaign depicts a road trip and features Yuqi’s latest solo single “Radio (Dum-Dum)”.
“I’m a fan of Tory’s collections – her unique designs always bring out the best in women – and I admire how she encourages women to embrace their dreams. I am excited about our partnership and the meaningful conversations to come,” said Yuqi.
Following this remarkable milestone, Yuqi will also make a personal appearance at Tory Burch’s new store opening at Shibuya Scramble in Tokyo.
