Founder and Artistic Director of Maje, Judith Milgrom tells us her vision for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

Tell us more about the type of women you envision while creating the Fall/Winter 24 collection. How do you see them incorporating these pieces into their everyday lives?

The Fall/Winter ’24 collection is all about the bold, free-spirited Maje woman. She’s always on the go, and these pieces are designed to give her that effortless confidence. She’ll wear them to stand out, but always with her own feminine twist. Whether she’s inspired by trends or her travels, she’ll make these looks part of her everyday life with that signature Parisian ease.

What was the story behind the inspiration when conceptualizing the season’s designs?

This collection is all about versatility and timeless Parisian chic. We’ve focused on impeccable cuts and elevated style, with pieces like the perfect light jeans, a military jacket, a white knit, a cool faux fur, and these black trousers that almost feel like a draped dress. It’s all about mixing sequins with a laid-back, effortless sophistication—totally Maje’s signature.

French elegance is at the heart of the collection. How do you keep this timeless signature while still infusing fresh, contemporary elements into your designs?

This season, we’re celebrating French icons like Catherine Deneuve and Jane Birkin through their unforgettable looks. They were muses to legendary French couturiers, bringing both glamour and boldness to the tailored silhouette—with that effortless Parisian cool that’s always captivated the world.

What role does versatility play in the collection? 

Versatility is key to this collection. Each piece is designed to transition effortlessly from day to night, giving women the freedom to adapt their style to any occasion while keeping that signature Parisian flair.

Which piece from the collection holds the most personal significance for you, and how would you style it with other items from the collection?

I always have a strong attachment to most of the collection, so it’s hard to pick just one piece. What I love is how versatile everything is—there are so many ways to mix and match for any occasion. Whether it’s pairing a classic tailored jacket with light jeans for a casual look or adding a sequin top for a night out, the options are endless.
