An Evening Of Fantasy

Cartier hires director Damien Chazella and composer Justin Hurwitz for a cinematic campaign that showcases the magic of the season.

The film sees a group of young musicians admiring the Cartier shopfront at the iconic 13 rue de la Paix one snowy evening. The group is played by actresses Deva Cassel and Nadia Tereszkiewicz, dancers Sae Eun Park and Guillaume Diop, with musician Aliocha Schneider.

Blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, the doors of the boutique then opens, inviting them into a verdant jungle where the Cartier panther roams. They then dance their way into the lavish halls of the maison, their steps in tune to the soundtrack. As the music builds to a crescendo, the musicians burst out in an impromptu jam as snow fills the interiors.

We are then transported back to the beginning, outside by the storefront. Did it all happen or was it just a dream? A truly magical holiday campaign from a most imaginative jeweller.
