First introduced in 2019, Loewe’s Ballet Runner is reinvented as a hybrid running shoe and ballet flat. Dubbed the Ballet Runner 2.0, the new range comes in multiple colourways and features the house’s distinctive asymmetric toe combined with the aesthetics of a 1970s running shoe. Available in nylon and calfskin and a full soft leather version, the sneakers’ design is refreshed with a revamped “L” monogram on its side and embossed anagram on the tongue. Other details include an upgraded wavy-textured rubber outsole that extends to the toe-cap, giving the sneakers a unique signature. And when it comes to flexibility and comfort, the shoe is fitted with an internal sock-like structure that is complemented with a soft leather lining and footbed.
