How to hit the slopes in style

Your winter wardrobe can make or break a ski holiday. It determines the tone of the trip, dictating your mood at every step: walking up the snowy path to the chalet, sitting patiently on the ski lifts, experiencing that first run down the slopes, sipping a hot chocolate at the summit café overlooking the mountains, or indulging in a hearty meal after a long day of winter sports.
Striking the perfect balance between style and function can be tricky. Every layer–from thermal garments and coats to hats and accessories–must work seamlessly with sports gear for an ideal skiing or snowboarding experience. How can you look good while staying warm and moving freely? Worry not! With this conundrum in mind, many brands, including Louis Vuitton and Arc’teryx, have designed unique and stylish solutions to properly equip you on your ski holiday.

Louis Vuitton

What will you wear on the slopes? The answer is obvious. Louis Vuitton’s LV SKI collection is the ultimate winter wardrobe, from high-performance, waterproof sportswear to sophisticated après-ski attire with the best leather goods and accessories.
When it comes to snow sports, Louis Vuitton introduces stylish and practical innovations, including recycled nylon jackets with quilted-effect topstitching reminiscent of its signature Malletage quilting. More nylon creations include practical pieces with thermal protection as well as the denim-look High Raise and Speedy belt bag.
To wear by the fire, there is a wealth of après-ski options, including knitwear with Norwegian motifs, suede leather Cortina ankle boots, as well as the metallic Monogram Miroir canvas inspired by glistening glaciers. For an added element of warmth, the Capucines and a Neverfull Inside Out BB are reimagined with shearling. The Monogram canvas is also crafted with merino shearling, sparking the creation of Teddy Muff, a one-of-a-kind collector’s model that is part sleeve, part bag.

Nike x Jacquemus
In this 18-piece après-ski apparel collection, Jacquemus puts a vintage twist on classic winter silhouettes, with stylish jumpsuits, shearling-lined coats, full circle skirts, and triple-layer GORE-TEX jackets. Nike comes in with technical expertise, ensuring the collection is fit for purpose, whether it’s tanning under the winter sun or shredding through fresh powder.
The collection is available from 26 November at Jacquemus stores or 3 December at select Nike stores and retail partners.
Holzweiler
The two trailblazing Scandinavian brands team up for the most stylish safety gear. The collaboration complements the first ski collection by Holzweiler, which just nabbed the Homecoming slot at the upcoming Copenhagen Fashion Week for its contributions in promoting Nordic fashion around the world. The line leans into the old adage, “Norwegians are born with skis on their feet”. Expect kofte-inspired patterns on knitted pieces under bib trousers, big tufts of faux fur on boots and accessories, as well as essential outerwear. These are paired with exclusive designs of signature Sweet Protection gear, such as reflective Connor lenses boasting Sweet Protection’s RIG® technology and the award-winning Switcher MIPS all-mountain helmet.

Moncler
Back in March, Moncler invited high-profile guests, including Penn Badgley, Jessica Chastain, Ashley Park, and more to Courchevel Altiport at 2,008 metres above sea level to stress test their Moncler Grenoble Fall/Winter 2025 collection. At high altitudes and low temperatures, the collection presented 140 innovative looks constructed from high-performing, ultra-warm and expertly treated fabric, perfectly tailored for every winter activity, whether it’s in the city or on the mountains.
And for more options, the Moncler x Jil Sander collaboration, The City of Genius, has just dropped. The latter’s refined silhouettes, such as the inverted lapel jackets, are constructed with the tech and expertise of the former, resulting in ultra-warm and functional 3-in-1 pieces.

Atomic x Arc’teryx
For those looking for more heavy-duty gear, the limited edition Atomic x Arcteryx collaboration is back. In its debut last year, the two outdoor brands joined forces to create a special version of Atomic’s all-terrain Maverick 115 CTI skis. This time, they work with two athletes–New Zealand skier Craig “Weazy Davis” Murray and Norwegian-born, Canada-based pro skier Tonje Kvivik–to present the Grottoflage Maverick and Maven collection. It includes two complete kits, featuring the Grottoflage print in two new colours.
