Longines Unveils a New Era of the HydroConquest with Henry Cavill

The HydroConquest collection embarks on a journey to elegance with updated designs, new sizes and a new bracelet.

Its story began in 2007, but what evolved after was decades of understated elegance. The HydroConquest collection exudes a timeless feel, showcasing the beauty of its sporty elements inspired by maritime adventure. A dive watch so synonymous with the brand’s legacy, the latest reimagination line features automatic models with stainless steel cases in two versatile sizes: 39mm and 42mm.

Starring Longines Ambassador of Elegance Henry Cavill, the actor fronts the campaign against a serene backdrop of sandy beaches and crashing waves. Photographed on the volcanic shores of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain, the campaign beautifully mirrors the HydroConquest collection’s versatility across land and sea.

Inside Longines latest HydroConquest Collection:

The redesigned dial is a masterwork of elegance, taking any watch connoisseur on a journey of discovery with its Super-LumiNova® illumination. Whether you’re into polished lacquered finishes in timeless blue, sleek black, fresh green or a frosted-blue sunray variant that dances with the light, the world is your oyster when it comes to picking a captivating dial of your choice. The allure extends to the ceramic bezel colours that frame these mesmerising dials—classic black, blue, slate grey, green and luminous blue.

Furthermore, the reworked unidirectional rotating bezel system—a feature borrowed from the UltraChron Diver model—ensures the timepiece delivers a finesse in its tactile feel when worn. The new Super-LumiNova® capsule at the “0” position ensures optimal visibility in any lighting condition, while the screw-in crown and robust construction uphold a remarkable water resistance of up to 30 bar (300 meters). At the heart of the timepiece lies the Longines-exclusive calibre L888.5, featuring a silicon balance spring and advanced components with a power reserve of up to 72 hours.

While all the attention is focused on the surface, the screw-down case back seals the deal with the Longines logo—a planisphere engraving reminiscent of the GMT models launched in 2023—that subtly connects the collection to the brand’s storied history of equipping explorers. The design extends to three stainless-steel models featuring H-shaped link bracelets. That’s not all. The HydroConquest line introduces the grace and intricacy of Milanese mesh bracelets—crafted from premium stainless steel—that guarantee exceptional comfort and breathability for everyday practicality.

Whether you’re crossing land or sea, embarking on a journey or moving through the day with ease, these timepieces are destined to make a statement in every setting.
