Louis Vuitton Announces A Second Collection With Jeff Koons

Following a very successful first collection, Louis Vuitton is set to collaborate with New York-based artist Jeff Koons on yet more art-inspired handbags. This time, the accessories will celebrate the work of Turner, Monet and Gauguin.

In April, Louis Vuitton released a range inspired by Koons’ ‘Gazing Ball’ paintings, a series of large-scale hand-painted reproductions of works by the Old Masters. The re-creations of masterpieces by da Vinci, Titian, Rubens, Fragonard and Van Gogh were transported onto iconic Louis Vuitton bags, including the Speedy, the Keepall and the Neverfull. This season, as well as more artists, the creations expand to a number of different handbag styles including the Montaigne, the Pochette and the Noé.
