Irina Shayk has made her return to the catwalk following her recent split from Bradley Cooper, her partner of four years and the father of her child. The model put any personal difficulties aside in Florence yesterday, 13 June, to appear in the CR Runway x LuisaViaRoma 90th anniversary show.
Shayk wore two looks – a strapless leather Ferragamo dress, elbow-length gloves and Mary Jane heels, and a pinstripe Mugler skirt suit which featured a daring thigh split which revealed suspenders. If the model was feeling heartbroken, it didn’t show.
She was enlisted by Carine Roitfeld to return to the catwalk, an editor she has worked with on numerous occasions before. Russian-born Shayk was joined on the runway by Bella Hadid and Joan Smalls.
The show featured a mix of current LuisaViaRoma designs, along with vintage styles from the ’90s by designers such as Helmut Lang and Christian Lacroix.
Shayk returned to work earlier this week after posting a series of Instagram pictures from a shoot in Iceland for fashion brand Falconeri. She also shared a serene shot of herself looking at a waterfall, an image taken for lingerie label Intimissimi.

Shayk and Cooper – who were also engaged – reportedly decided to split earlier this month after four years together. They welcomed their daughter in 2017.
A spokesperson for the couple said that the two have “officially decided to end their relationship and are amicably working out how to share custody of their daughter”.
