Cheetah X Jovian Mandagie: SS22

Cheetah Malaysia launched a collection inspired by tennis.

A tennis court was constructed specially for the Cheetah X Jovian event at Mitec, Kuala Lumpur.  The show started with an intense game of tennis on the court, followed by models strutting the new collection on the runway.

The set-up of the event was ever so Instagram-worthy, and those in attendance could not resist snapping away. Guests were able to enter the tennis court for a photo op, once the fashion show ended.

The key highlight was Malaysian rapper ‘Sona One’ performance during the show, bringing the show to life with the combination of music and fashion.

The Collection: Cheetah X Jovian

In an attempt to freshen the company’s present range of garments, Jovian Mandagie was commissioned to update the brand’s design direction. The reason behind the collaboration is for Cheetah to meet the booming fast fashion industry.

The inspiration behind the collection was adopted from the 90s era.

A total of 70 models made their way down the runway, while the collection oozes Wimbledon vibes. The combination of sports and athleisure wear, with a hint of a preppy boarding school boy, brought a liveliness to Cheetah. Updated and reborn the collection is both wearable and a closet staple.

The new collection includes a range for men, women, and children. If you are interested in the new collection, check out  www.cheetah.com.my.
