Jimin of BTS to Release His First Solo Album

BTS’ agency BigHit Music announces the release of Jimin’s first-ever solo project, entitled FACE.

Fans worldwide are in for a treat as Jimin of BTS is set to release his first-ever solo album, FACE, at 1:00 PM KST on 24 March 2023.

A circle of resonance, FACE, is thought to be a reflection of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds. A statement by BigHit Music expressed that the album “is all about Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist.”

The pre-order date is set to be from 11:00 AM KST on 22nd February 2023 while the full schedule of the upcoming release can be found on the teaser image.

The announcement comes with no surprise since the 7-member boy group went on a temporary hiatus from group activities. With J-Hope releasing his album and documentary, Jack in the Box, Jin collaborating with Coldplay on one of their singles, The Astronaut, Jung Kook working with Charlie Puth on, Left to Right, and singing the official FIFA World Cup 2022 Soundtrack, DreamersRM pursuing his debut album Indigo, Suga announcing the dates of his first solo tour and last but not least, V staring in In the Scoop: Friendcation, a reality TV show- it is without a doubt that following the international success of BTS, each member will make it big in their solo careers.
