The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collaboration is your new wardrobe must-have.
Part of the Louis Vuitton’s men’s workwear capsule collection by Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton unveils an exciting collaboration with American shoe brand Timberland. First seen on the runway at the A/W ’24 men’s show, the highly anticipated partnership pays homage to the “American Western origins of workwear through the savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton”. For this collaboration, three exceptional styles are created to encapsulate the essence of elegance and utility rooted in craftsmanship. Crafted in Fiesso d’Artico, the Maison’s Italian shoe atelier, the shoes are a perfect amalgamation of Louis Vuitton’s and Timberland’s ethos.
The first style is an interpretation of Timberland’s classic 6-Inch boots, styled the LV 6-Inch boot. The boot is reimagined across two designs and several adaptations in premium supple Italian nubuck leather with insulation system and seam-sealed waterproof construction. The work boot’s signature rubber lug outsole underscores its utilitarian style while elegant LV Monogram motifs are embossed on its silhouette and tongue-lining to create an eye-catching look that is complemented with Louis Vuitton eyelets and leather tag adornments.
The second line in the Louis Vuitton x Timberland collaboration offers a directional take on the classic. Known as the LV Boot, the design is an exaggerated variation of the classic 6-Inch silhouette. Available in several styles that feature the rubber lug outsole, each style is defined by notable details that give the boots a unique look. Styles include an ankle boot in wheat-coloured or grained black leather, a ranger boot with an elongated shaft and strap details, a pull-on mid boot with brown leather ankle cuffs, and finally, a pull-on harness boot with side buckles.
Last but not least, The Maison reveals the LV 6-Inch exceptional edition ankle boot limited to only fifty pairs. This singular piece is crafted in Classic Monogram premium supple waterproof Italian leather and features a bespoke rendition of the work boot rubber lug outsole. Its tongue is embellished with 18K gold LV initials and are inscribed with the words “THE SUN IS SHINING ON US”—a personal sentiment by Pharrell Williams expressed at his debut show for the Maison. As seen on the runway, a bespoke Monogram leather and plexiglass shoebox with VVN trims completes this limited-edition masterpiece.
