Prada Extends Bangkok: A Night Where Fashion and Music Collide with Thailand’s Hottest Stars Win Metawin and our very own Cover Star Alvin Chong.

Prada, the renowned Italian luxury brand, brings its immersive party experience, Prada Extends, to Bangkok. Created in collaboration with the visionary British-Canadian electronic musician Richie Hawtin, also known as Plastikman, Prada Extends Bangkok sets out to redefine the boundaries of music and fashion, uniting diverse cultures and geographies through the universal language of music.

With captivating audiences from Miami, London, and Tokyo, Prada Extends arrived in the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, on 29 June 2023. Famed for its captivating nightlife and vibrant entertainment scene, Bangkok provided the perfect backdrop for the exhilarating celebration of music’s transformative power.

Kicking off at noon, the day-long extravaganza commenced with an exclusive conversation at the iconic Prada ICONSIAM store. As the sun sets, the real magic unfolded with an immersive fusion of music and fashion. Prada Extends unleashed a spectacular line-up of international DJs, sparking the dance floor by taking the energy to unparalleled heights.

Joining forces with Richie Hawtin, the visionaries behind the concept, were BongBongQuayQuay, a dynamic DJ and former model from Saigon, Vietnam, Elaheh, a Half Thai-Persian DJ based in Bangkok, and Sarayu, a multi-talented DJ, producer, and member of the renowned electronic artist collective UNSTๆ.

The momentous event pushed the fashion house’s creative identity into new heights. Alongside the electrifying performances, the visual artists Ali Demirel, Chaiyapat Natt Plubsiri (also known as yellowtrash), and Supitchkran Sriprasert (aka Footprints on Mars) showcased their captivating virtual works which added another layer of artistic expression to the immersive experience.
