Rainbow hair colours
As new hair colouring technologies were made more accessible, experimental hair hues really took off. The decade saw everything from bold rainbow brights to muted pastels play out, but pink was the sure-fire hit, with everyone from Blake Lively to Kim Kardashian and Dame Helen Mirren hitting the bottle. Part girlie, part grungy, pink hair offers some fun escapism in these politically testing times.
