Trend: cool girl no make-up make-up

Nars

“The Adeam girl this season is cool, the look is effortless beauty with strong eyebrows and a natural lip,” explained Sada Ito, NARS Global Artistry Director. “Against the beautiful gowns we wanted the girls to look as if they were wearing no make-up at all.”

Easier said than done, for even the fairest of faced models. It was intricate work backstage for Ito who, with his backstage team, employed NARSskin Optimal Brightening Concentrate, £51, and Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, £35, for “barefaced perfection”.

“We then applied natural colours to look like the light and warmth was coming from within, with layers of Copacabana Illuminator, £23, worked into cheeks, with Disobedience lipstick pressed on with fingers, and Rigel Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow, £21, dotted on the centre of the lids with just a touch of mascara.”
