Dream Island
“Xin chào! Welcome to paradise!” greeted Joshua Hehr, the Immersion Programme Manager at Amanoi. He was right—this place, was indeed a paradise. Tucked away in the vast mountainous terrain of Núi Chúa National Park, one of Vietnam’s largest conservation sites, was a hidden sanctuary inspired by serenity and adventure. Derived from the Sanskrit word for “peace” and “noi” meaning place, the Amanoi truly lived up to its name. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy, this first six-star resort in Vietnam boasted accommodations of contemporary elegance with traditional Vietnamese architecture, encompassing 31 pavilions and five Aman residences. In other words, it was the idyllic destination to find my zen.
