These Celebrity Beauty Brands Should Be On Your Radar in 2023

Your favourite Hollywood stars are tapping into the beauty industry. Here’s a list of celebrity beauty brands you should know in 2023.

Isn’t it obvious? The beauty industry is thriving, and for good reasons. The constant need to perfect your everyday skincare routine or search for the next big thing calls for many trials and errors. Of course, good marketing goes hand-in-hand with convincing you of what you really need. With the rapid growth of the health and beauty industry, it seems that celebrities are tapping their way into the beauty world too.

While there are countless businesses to list down, many have failed while others continue to flourish. When we think of celebrity beauty brands, prominent names such as Fenty Beauty, Rare Beauty, Kora Organics, Rhode and Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner, come to mind.

However, did you know that there are other existing celebrity-owned beauty brands that are also worth the hype? We have beauty lines from Winnie Harlow, Vanessa Hudgens, John Legend, Halsey, and more. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of them because, let’s face it – there are too many to keep tabs on.

Here’s a list of celebrity beauty brands to know in 2023:

Cay Skin

We can’t stress this enough, but knowing the importance of protecting your skin from the sun is incredibly sexy – Winnie Harlow knows that too. Cay Skin was created after the supermodel suffered a severe sunburn injury after a photo shoot in the Bahamas. Since that traumatic experience, creating accessible clean suncare was what she had in mind. Formulated with hydrating nectars, aloe vera and sea moss, Cay Skin is infused with ingredients that represent Harlow’s Caribbean culture. With that in mind, we believe the Isle Glow Body Lotion SPF 45 is definitely worth trying if you want an “instant island glow”.

Launched in 2021, KNOW Beauty was spearheaded by Vanessa Hudgens and Madison Beers. The brand began its journey as a DNA-testing technology to promote a skincare routine. However, in 2023 the brand scrapped its overall goals and parted ways with Beers. With Hudgens taking control, Know Beauty relaunched its brand and released the KNOW Beauty Glacial Bay Clay Mask. Infused with mineral-infused colloidal clay harvested from an active glacier in British Columbia, the mask aims to draw out impurities, tighten pores and restore a healthy glow.

About-Face

Created by singer and songwriter Halsey, about-face strays from skincare by releasing numerous makeup must-haves. Since its launch in 2021, the brand has launched eye pencils, lip glosses, blush balms, eye paints and more. What sets about-face apart is how electrifying the colours are. You can expect liquid eyeliners and eye paints in bold colours like blue, green, pink, orange, yellow and beyond. We recommend trying the eye paint. Its electrifying hues and rich pigment make this liquid eyeshadow perfect for any day-to-night affair.

Relatively new to the game, Good Weird by Evan Mock is the latest genderless skincare-beauty brand to know. Good Weird has a purpose: to make everyone feel good and stay weird. Designated for all skin types, the beauty brand recently released three products: Cold Brew Undereye, Balmy Weather Moisture Stick and Back from Vacay Bronzer. On our wishlist is the Cold Brew Undereye – an eye serum designed to smooth, blur and reduce fine lines while boosting collagen production. It’s definitely the perfect product to carry on a daily.
