Jennifer Aniston is a woman envied the world over for her fantastic figure, so when she opens up about her workout secrets, we listen. While the actress is well known for her love of yoga and her sugar-free, protein-heavy diet, she has just outlined exactly how she has been stepping it up in the gym of late.

“[I am] back in the gym with my trainer, throwing heavy boulders around and pushing medicine balls and wiggling and shaking that big rope thing,” she told US Vogue. “And then I do 45 minutes of intervals on my elliptical. I raise the incline, run for two mins, walk for one, run for two…and I do it for 20 minutes straight until I’m just drenched.”

While that sounds extremely exhausting, her other favourite way to keep fit at the moment sounds altogether more relaxing. Aniston explained that she is currently a huge fan of ‘The Class’ by Taryn Toomey, which – as described on its website – is a “cathartic movement experience”. The class combines calisthenics and plyometrics, promising an “incredibly strong, lean, resilient body”.

Said to be a combination of yoga, cardio and high-intensity interval training, ‘The Class’ promises to push both your body and your mind: “Participants challenge the body to engage the mind. With guided instruction and carefully curated music, this class invites students to witness their resistance to discomfort. The result is an expansive, heart-opening, body-strengthening release.”

The class is currently only stationed in New York, Los Angeles and Vancouver, but fingers crossed that a London studio will open soon.
