Here we go, back into yet another lockdown. A stressful time for just about everyone, we’ve curated a list of some of our favourite local masks to indulge in when we’re looking for a bit of an escape. Always remember to schedule in a little TLC just for yourself—especially during these times.

Also, these masks will have your skin prepped and glowing for the upcoming festive season. Celebrations will be a lot different this year but at least your skin will be looking radiant and luminous, regardless.

Sheet masks are one of our beauty staples, and the ones offered by Chuck’s are always in our rotation. Available in three different types: Glow On Brightening Peony Mask, Self Love Moisturising Honey Mask and Chuck It Purifying Kale Mask—our top pick is the Chuck It. Infused with 79% detoxifying kale extract, calming witch hazel and refreshing peppermint oil, it salves away all the bad and leaves skin feeling refreshed, re-energised and rid of large pores and dark circles.

Handmade Heroes

One of the most gentle clay masks out there, the Handmade Heroes Beauty Warrior Face Mask is an incredible detoxifier that rids skin of any unwanted impurities and oils, whilst working to revitalise, soothe and restore your skin’s radiance. Available in Australian Pink Clay and French Green Clay, all you’ll need is five minutes for it to work its magic.

The Rose Brightening Moisture Mask by Lumi Beauty never fails to transport us to a field of roses everytime we use it. Powered by natural botanical extracts from rose oils and seaberry fruit, it works to nourish and smoothen overall skin texture. Incredibly soothing, it always leaves our skin looking radiant after application.

Offering a variety of clay mask options, By Eggs have created a mask for a number of skin needs with our favourites being their Peppermint Crush Brightening Clay Mask and Breakfast Cereal Moisturising Clay Mask. All their masks have a base of Kaolin clay and bentonite which smartly work to remove impurities from the skin. Its ‘food for your skin’ concept makes for incredibly cute packaging and their quirky food-inspired products almost smell good enough to eat.
