Recognised for her composed presence and refined sensibility, Song Hye Kyo aligns naturally with Guerlain’s vision. Her influence extends beyond film and television, resonating internationally in a way that mirrors the Maison’s own global reach.
To mark this next chapter, Song Hye Kyo has taken part in one of Guerlain’s most personal traditions—the creation of her own Bee Bottle, a bespoke experience that highlights the Maison’s heritage of artistry and attention to detail.
Inside Song Hye Kyo’s Bee Bottle

For her personalised bottle, she selected Angélique Noire from Guerlain’s L’Art & La Matière collection. The fragrance balances fresh green notes of angelica with soft vanilla, creating a composition that is both luminous and understated.
Encased within the iconic Bee Bottle, the fragrance becomes something more than a signature scent. Reflecting on the experience, Song Hye Kyo described the Bee Bottle as “a creation shaped by light, patience and craft,” adding that she is “honored to celebrate this icon with Guerlain and to share its spirit with those who seek beauty with meaning.”
Guerlain CEO Gabrielle Saint-Genis shared a similar perspective, “Song Hye-Kyo embodies the contemporary elegance of our Maison. Her sensitivity, modernity and artistic precision illuminate the Bee Bottle, a symbol of our heritage and our commitment to craftsmanship. The Bee Bottle

First created in 1853 for Empress Eugénie, the Bee Bottle remains one of Guerlain’s most recognisable designs. Inspired by the geometry of Place Vendôme and adorned with hand-applied bees—an emblem of the French Empire—it reflects the Maison’s long-standing dedication to detail and tradition.
And while Song Hye Kyo’s Bee Bottle is uniquely hers, Guerlain offers clients the opportunity to create their own personalised version. From selecting a fragrance within the L’Art & La Matière collection to choosing the bottle’s size and colour, the process allows for thoughtful customisation. Additional details, such as engraved messages, coloured cords and the Guerlain seal, complete the experience.
The result is a fragrance that feels personal and enduring—created not only to be worn, but to be kept.
With that, the bespoke Bee Bottle experience is available at Guerlain’s The Exchange TRX boutique, with selected sizes and colours offered on a pre-order basis, and is subject to availability.
