Even in defeat, Hilary remains a classy and hopeful leader that she is, congratulating Donald Trump personally on a call and also offered to work for him. “We must accept the result and look to the future. Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead,” said Clinton, as she openly admitted her disappointment in her first public comments on the election result.

“And to all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and to achieve your own dreams.”
“I spent my entire adult life fighting for what I believe in. I’ve had successes and I’ve had setbacks. Sometimes really painful ones. Many of you are at the beginning of your professional public and political careers. You will have successes and setbacks, too. This loss hurts, but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.” Clinton’s inspirational words serves as a reminder to all the young people to always fight for what we believe.
Addressing the core American values which many Democrats hold, “Our constitutional democracy enshrines a peaceful transfer of power. We don’t just respect that, we cherish it.” “The American dream is big enough for everyone,” Clinton said, as the crowd cheered on.

“I know we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but someday, someone will, and hopefully sooner than we might think right now.”
