7 The London protests

Animal-rights activists had a big presence over the weekend of London Fashion Week, with a number of demonstrations taking place. At Burberry, Versus Versace and Gareth Pugh, among others, dozens of angry animal-rights activists loudly campaigned for brands to stop using fur and shearling. The protests were put on by activism organisation Surge and definitely divided fashion-week attendees. While their message was welcomed by most, the intimidating manner in which some of them behaved was not.
