More than 40 street-style photographers who have travelled the circuit – starting in New York and ending in Paris – this past month banded together to form an unofficial union against the “work for free” culture in the fashion industry. The photographers were fighting against influencers, models, brands and bloggers who use their photos without credit or payment, while they are often paid themselves for the posts. Instead of tagging said influencers in the pictures they shared, the photographers promised to use the hash tag #NoFreePhotos to make a stand.
