It seemed impossible that Gucci would be able to create something more desirable than its backless loafers or bumbags, but the brand’s new slogan jumper stands a good chance. The story behind the piece makes it even more interesting – for those unsure, the Mitford sisters were scandalous, famous siblings notable during World War II. The 11th Duke of Devonshire, who was married to the youngest Mitford sister, used to design witty slogan jumpers, one of which bore the pictured phrase. The jumpers are now on display at Chatsworth House at an exhibition, sponsored by Gucci.
