Impressing us yet again, NewJeans is back with another unforgettable single, titled ‘How Sweet’, coupled with a sensational music video. Shot in Taiwan, the new music video was whirring with energy, joy and chic fashion ensembles.

In their new music video, NewJeans embraced the sporty 90s hip-hop trend with streetwear staples such as baggy jeans and sneakers as their main fashion statement.
Haerin wore a nylon hunting vest with a tank top underneath, dark blue baggy jeans and Nike Cortez sneakers for a playful silhouette. Hyein on the other hand wore a nylon hunting cap, a chequered shirt paired with white jeans and Air Jordan 11 sneakers for a chic and sporty look.
Danielle’s outfit features a bandana and printed sweatshirt, paired with white denim and dune red Jordan Air Ship sneakers with a bracelet, while Minji wore a Calvin Klein unlined bralette underneath a boxy striped shirt, with navy cargo pants and Nike Cortez Leather sneakers. Hanni then wore a printed knit combo blouse, grey snap-off lounge pants from Y/Project and a pair of Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” sneakers.

In this look, the members of NewJeans are dressed in vibrant American preppy outfits, evoking high school uniforms from the early 2000s. Danielle stands out in a classic blazer over a white shirt, paired with gingham shorts. Haerin wore a Palace x Gap Rugby Shirt and cargo hot pants, which were accessorised with a white hair band, while Minji’s look features a blue jersey and brown cargo hot pants.
Hanni added a touch of sophistication to her outfit by pairing a green sweater with dark blue low-rise jeans and a gold choker. Meanwhile, Hyein goes for a bolder look with Supreme’s snake print shirt and pants, layered over a jacquard brassiere.

NewJeans’ third outfit in the music video takes nostalgic fashion with simple and more down-to-earth sartorial pieces that emphasise comfort and casualness.
Danielle is seen in a light pink anorak jacket paired with white baggy jeans and Nike Cortez Midnight Navy sneakers, topped off with a brown beanie. Minji wore a check hooded jacket from Cordura over a Calvin Klein unlined bralette, complemented by light blue denim, Nike SB Zoom Blazer sneaker and a baseball cap, adding a sporty edge to her outfit.
Hyein keeps it classic with a long-sleeved red shirt and denim, pairing it with Nike Cortez ‘Athletic Department’ sneakers. Hanni matched her low-waist jeans with a Calvin Klein unlined bralette under a Safarispot’s roux base uniform dugout shirt and paired it with AJ1 Retro Low OG sneakers. Lastly, Haerin wore a white sweater and red sweatpants, finished with Air Jordan 11 Retro ‘Gratitude’ sneakers and a baseball cap.
