Bella Hadid owns Cannes red carpet looks.
Returning to the heart of France in support of the screening of The Innocent (L’Innocent), the supermodel walks the red carpet at the 75th-anniversary celebration of the Cannes Film Festival in the most elegant way.
The newly appointed Swarovski ambassador wore the late Gianni Versace’s creation of a strapless black Versace gown with a peplum waistline and a huge back bow, channelling the House’s vintage design from 1987.
Gigi Hadid’s younger sister wasn’t planning on leaving the film festival donning just one vintage look. For the Cannes dinner, she wore a dreamy gown from Donatella Versace’s Autumn 2001 ready-to-wear collection. Embracing her always-dramatic look with a low neckline that went down to her waist paired with dazzling chandelier earrings.
Gigi Hadid literally wins this look. Her naked-sheer dress is all dreamy and feminine. This Fall-Winter 2003 archival piece is made of silk georgette, which has a flowing skirt with a high leg split highlighted by satin ribbons showing off a timeless style.
The Flamenco-inspired dress, from Sielian Vintage, is from the legendary Karl Lagerfeld’s Autumn/Winter 1986 collection. She looked effervescent in a ruffled skirt and balloon sleeves. Hadid looked flawless daring the outfit with a glittering Chopard necklace and a white bow in her hair.
Hadid turned her fierce model look into an angel as soon as she threw on Gucci’s vintage white jersey gown with a keyhole on the hip to the premiere of Hirokazu Kore-EDA’s Broker. She arrived with a matching gold Peretti-Esque loop G string, adding a luxurious gold touch, and white heels.
