A starry week in Venice.
The annual Venice Film Festival returns. Surrounded by the pristine waters of Venice as its canvas, the film industry’s visionaries make their dazzling appearances on the red carpet for the 81st Venice Film Festival. With a star-studded guest list, this year’s soiree is a celebration of the highly-anticipated films that will make their debut, sparking excitement among the audience. Amongst the list is Tim Burton’s ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ sequel starring Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder, along with Joaquin Phoenix’s return as Joker. Only this time, with Lady Gaga as his leading actress in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’.
Kicking off its festivities on 28 August 2024, the 81st Venice Film Festival began with the premiere of Tim Burton’s sequel ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’. As a mark of its triumph return to the silver screen, the film received a four-minute standing ovation after its world premiere. And, of course, the red carpet was everything and more, filled with memorable looks that are worth noting. This includes Jenna Ortega’s stunning and elegant red ensemble in custom Dior, which cunningly pays tribute to Ryder’s wedding gown in the 1988 ‘Beetlejuice’ film.
Time and again, Taylor Russell proves that she is the it girl to look out for. She makes a striking and dazzling appearance in a Chanel Couture mermaid gown, leaving the audience intrigued and captivated.
