Strike a pose.
Fashion week is truly underway, and kicking off the Fall/Winter 2025 season on the fashion calendar is New York City. For the Fall/Winter season, a captivating array of collections blends innovations with nostalgia. From the timeless elegance of Calvin Klein to the playful yet sophisticated offerings from Tory Burch, the NYFW season promises a delightful blend of styles that caters to every fashion maven’s taste.
Let’s dive into the standout moments that defined New York Fashion Week.
Our top moments from NYFW Fall/Winter 2025:
Coach
Coach has always been at the forefront of Americana-inspired silhouettes. For Fall/Winter 2025, Stuart Vevers takes his love for the buzzing energy of New York City into an electrifying collection. Set at the Park Armory, the atmosphere is intended to create an illusion of the Brooklyn Bridge’s signature arches and bricks. To Vevers, his intention for the Fall/Winter season is to balance a touch of the ‘90s with a youthful essence. Think about what the cool kids are wearing these days.
The collection boasts heritage materials and palettes to convey its commitment to repurposing second-hand garments. On the runway, you’ll notice upcycled outerwear, from cropped bomber jackets to leather trenches and peacoats. Not forgetting, denim is also elevated from denim scraps into mid-waist baggy pants while billowing sheer dress numbers layered over pants conquered the runway.
In contrast to SS25, you’ll notice a takeover of darker neutrals, from chocolate to navy blues. However, the accessories department takes a joyous twist as fuzzy bunny slippers and bag charms dominate the season. With the thriving buzz around Coach’s bags, two new archival bag companions make their debut: the Twin Pocket Bag and the Bleecker Bucket Bag.
Calvin Klein
After a six-year hiatus, Calvin Klein triumphantly returns to the fashion week calendar with Veronica Leoni at the helm as artistic director. The collection, which pays tribute to monumental minimalism, takes inspiration from American beauty and the idea of clothes for life.
“As a designer, I have always been deeply inspired by Calvin Klein, and the chance to write this next chapter for the brand is a one-of-a-kind opportunity,” said Veronica Leoni, Creative Director for Calvin Klein Collection, in a press statement. “My goal is to define an ultimate and definitive expression of monumental minimalism and pureness through shape and craft, bringing Mr. Klein’s original vision and distinctive approach into the current day.”
On the runway, you’ll spot wardrobe staples that will elevate your daily wear, including the signature trenchcoats, suits, silk blouses, shirts, five-pocket trousers, square-toed flats, pumps, and more. With minimalism at the heart of this collection, a sense of delicate, airy silhouettes takes control with draping, lean, narrow, loose, and cropped tailoring. Not forgetting about the underwear, a Calvin Klein signature that takes over the runway with knitted henleys, flowing slip dresses, and satin separates.
Tory Burch
At the Museum of Modern Art, Tory Burch takes the Fall/Winter 2025 season with an imaginative spirit. Transitioning seamlessly from SS25, the debut of the FW25 collection transforms sportswear staples with a chic yet timeless outlook. On the runway, Banker shirts flare beautifully with every stride. For when the temperature drops, elegant cardigans with sliced and twisted sleeves set the tone for any day-to-night affair. Another stunning addition to your weekly rotation is their shirtdresses, which are beautifully constructed on a spiral pattern. When it comes to Tory Burch, you’ll never be disappointed with the unveiling of its accessories curation. Highlights include the soft leather Pierced bag and Balloon bag, along with the reimagined Eleanor bag in pillowy leather. The piece de resistance? Their best-selling Romy bucket bag makes an iconic return in cognac suede and faux croc.
If you adored the Twisted Pump from SS25, you’d be thrilled to know that returning in Fall/Winter as a distorted T-strap and slingback sandal. For a touch of quirkiness to your final look, the accessories department showcases shoulder-dusting chains, watch band bracelets, gold-tone sunglasses, tiny mouse earrings, and oversized pins.
