Tory Burch

Tory Burch laid a volume of love poems at each seat for her Valentine’s Day show today, one inspired by another tale of love – Katherine Hepburn’s “The Philadelphia Story,” the story of a woman discovering her true identity. In other words, Burch joined rank with other designers this season, but explored feminism on her terms, by showing a confident woman with a love of the outdoors – with a nod to the preppy style of Burch’s hometown of Philly. Winter whites and shearlings opened the collection, complete with an embroidered monogram, lest anyone forget the TB behind the scene. -Kerry Pieri
