Inspired by her summertime reading of Allison Yarrow’s book 90s Bitch: Media, Culture, and the Failed Promise of Gender Equality, Givenchy creative director Clare Waight Keller looked to Hillary Clinton, Marcia Clark, and Anita Hill for her latest collection at the French maison. Interestingly enough, it was the same decade that saw the English designer make her mark at Calvin Klein, which she brilliantly fused along with First Lady suits, boardroom Bermuda shorts, and stately ball gowns.
